Healthy carbohydrates

In a nutshell

  • I like how this graphic highlights the difference between healthy and unhealthy dietary carbohydrates

  • I tend to follow this with a few exceptions that I describe

  • The graphic comes from a fitness and weight loss outfit called Eupraxia

The carbs I eat tend to fall into these categories, with the following exceptions:

  • I eat apples regularly

  • I eat certain root vegetables regularly, especially in winter. These include celeriac, turnip and swede, squash, carrots, radishes, beets, and fennel

  • After a long or hard mountain bike ride, I consume processed grains in something like a meat pie with pastry

This graphic comes from Eupraxia, a US-based fitness and weight-loss outfit.
