An electrolyte mix I like

In a nutshell

  • I like Restore, the electrolyte product from Hunter & Gather

  • It contains the correct amount of sodium and doesn’t contain added sugar

  • It comes in small sachets that can be diluted in 750mL water, thereby suiting my lazy personality

This is a very short article to highlight an easy to use electrolyte mix called Restore from a company, Hunter & Gather, I also use for things that don’t contain seed oils and sugar like mayonnaise, collagen supplement, and salad dressing.

The mixture comes in a sachet that I add to 750mL of water and contains the following:

  • Sodium - 1,000mg (1g)

  • Potassium - 200mg

  • Magnesium - 80mg

I take it first thing in the morning, before and after exercise, after a sauna, and any other time I’m feeling thirsty.

I especially like this product because it doesn’t contain sugar, comes unflavoured, is made by a British company I like, and because it contains sodium at the concentration recommended by Dr. James DiNicolantonio. DiNicolantonio seems to use his website to only advertise his books so if you’re interested, sign up for his weekly e-mail or follow him on Instagram.
